The Good Earth

I did some gardening today, if transplanting already growing plants from one part of the ground to another and watering them is your definition of gardening, then I did a pretty good job I think.

I remember that this was what occupied my free time way back when. You plant something and it grows, albeit slowly. And yet it didn’t matter then, time was inconsequential the important thing was the nurturing of life. It reminds us so much of the importance of the land and those who toil it so that we may have food on the table. Fruit of the earth, work of our hands.
